In this lesson, students will learn about the history of women's rights, critically examine what obstacles women in the U.S. still face today, and discuss ways to address these barriers.  (Grades 8-12)

Lesson Plan: Challenge the Media

In this lesson, students will learn about the rights of migrants and the fulfillment of those rights in the United States.  They will be asked to critically assess news coverage of migrant rights' issues to gain an understanding of the barriers faced by migrants in the United States.

Utilizing the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, students are asked to analyze situations in light of the particular articles of the UDHR.
