Biographic Information                                                                                                                           

Judge Kathryn L. Quaintance was appointed to the Hennepin County bench in October 2000. She was assigned to Juvenile Court, hearing Delinquency and Child Protection cases, from 2002-2005. Prior to her appointment she was a prosecutor with the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office for 11 years where she tried more than 50 cases including homicide, domestic violence, child abuse and sex offenses. Judge Quaintance is currently a member of the Hennepin County Fatality Review Project and is a past co-chair(2004) of the Hennepin County Bar Association’s Juvenile Law Section. She also chaired a multi-disciplinary committee on juvenile mental health issues. 

 

The bi-monthly Children's Human Rights Speaker Series will be held throughout 2006 and 2007.
