Goal: Build understanding about barriers to housing faced by people in the United States and examine the government's role in helping others fulfill that right.

Objectives:

• Students will identify the barriers individuals face in realizing the right to housing in the United States.
• Students will critically examine the success of the U.S. government in fulfilling its obligation to realize the right to housing for all in the United States.

Essential Question: Is the right to housing being addressed adequately in the United States?
