Human Rights Lecture Series


The Human Rights Lecture Series, co-sponsored by Fredrikson & Byron, began in 2005 and was restarted in 2007.  It is held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. the third Thursday of February, April, June, August, October and December.

  Ongoing Crisis in Darfur - Minnesota Community Response   --  February 21, 2008 - The human suffering in Darfur continues despite the fact that the U.S. Congress, the President, and two U.S. Secretaries of State have labeled the conflict in Darfur a genocide. In this lecture, Bradley Lehrman and Ellen Kennedy provide updates on the situation and describe how Minnesota activists have organized and responded to this humanitarian crisis and how you can take action.
