Genocide Intervention Network - Minnesota
GI-Net Minnesota, begun in 2006, empowers individuals and communities with the tools to prevent and stop genocide. Through social change, GI-Net Minnesota envisions a world in which the global community protects civilians from genocide and mass atrocities. GI-Net Minnesota recognizes that the world cares deeply about ending and preventing genocide. Constituent pressure can make genocide prevention an important and relevant political priority for elected officials and policymakers. GI-Net Minnesota empowers campus and community leaders to provide opportunities for people to make ending genocide an important political issue at the local, state, national, and international levels. GI-Net Minnesota raises both money and political will for civilian protection initiatives around the world.
